LIFT COO Tony Brunswick Recognized by University of Dayton for His Contributions to Public Service

In September of 2010, the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio recognized LIFT’s Tony Brunswick for his accomplishments as an alumnus dedicated to service, and this February, it published a video interview with him. Tony, LIFT’s Chief Operating Officer, has dedicated his life to serving others since his graduation from the University of Dayton in 1997.

His service includes work with AmeriCorps, the Franciscan Center in Baltimore, Clean and Sober Streets in DC, and Jordan House in DC, where he established a residential stabilization program for individuals in psychiatric crisis (part of So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.).  Tony also worked in Haiti with Beyond Borders, a nonprofit focused on education and work promoting the rights of children.

In addition to his current work with LIFT, Tony is actively serving on the boards of the Capuchin Franciscan Volunteer Corps and the Rolling Ridge Foundation, an environmental conservation and education foundation.
