Bank of America Volunteers Brighten LIFT-Boston Office

A team of 13 Bank of America volunteers visited the new LIFT center in Roxbury on June 17th to paint our offices. The newly decorated offices create a professional, bright, and welcoming space for our clients, volunteers, and community members.

Led by Monte Foster and Tomas Diaz, volunteers enthusiastically worked together rolling out the orange paint that immediately added warmth and interest to the space. Bank of America also kindly donated the paint and all other materials. We were thrilled to have this enthusiastic group join us for the day and they did a wonderful job.

This is the second time that LIFT-Boston has been fortunate to have Bank of America volunteers collaborate with us. They also came in March to give mock interviews to clients as part of an Employment Prep Day. We are currently working with their volunteers to establish a financial literacy clinic which will be offered once a month at the Roxbury center—a much needed resource for clients who may wish to maximize their incomes, build their savings or plan for a child’s education.
