This month, the National Center for Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (NCPFCE) released the newly redesigned Family Economic Mobility (FEM) Toolkit – an online resource for Head Staff and Early Head Start staff supporting families striving for economic stability and mobility.
Since 2019, LIFT has served as NCPFCE’s Family Economic Mobility subject matter expert, providing guidance and content for NCPFCE’s FEM Training and Technical Assistance (TTA). LIFT worked alongside NCPFCE to reimagine and strengthen the FEM Toolkit, building on key learnings from LIFT’s years of partnering with parents on their financial, career, and educational goals. The goal of the redesign was to make the Toolkit more user-friendly, accessible, and applicable for frontline HS/EHS staff and families.
The new FEM Toolkit provides content that meets you wherever you are in partnering with families on the road to economic mobility — whether you want to learn about family economic mobility basics, get ideas and inspiration, or get hands-on resources and training to help you engage and plan with families. LIFT is proud to partner with NCFPCE to release the new FEM Toolkit!
NCFPCE, part of a comprehensive Office of Head Start TTA System, provides training and technical assistance (TTA) for Head Start and Early Head Start staff who work with families. To learn more, contact NCPFCE at [email protected] or (toll-free) 855-208-0909.
