LIFT-New York Board Member Laurie Davis and nine of her colleagues from Neuberger Berman came to our office to participate in a Career Exploration Workshop alongside seven of our parents. It was part of the firm’s global initiative called “Celebration with Service” which allows employees to volunteer on different projects that promote academic success, independence and economic sustainability. The volunteers assisted our members with resume writing, interviewing skills, and discussed the importance of a career versus a job!
