On May 16, we celebrated our 20th anniversary with HOPE. MONEY. LOVE., a gala held at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. This epic celebration united LIFTers past and present for an evening of celebration honoring the 20-year legacy of our Co-Founder Kirsten Lodal and launching the start of LIFT’s next chapter with our new CEO Michelle Rhone-Collins.
We also presented awards to longtime LIFT supporters in recognition of their dedication to LIFT’s mission. Jonathan and Jeannie Lavine and Ben and Jaclyn Harper were honored with our upLIFTing Legacy Awards. We also honored Caroline Degenaars, Elizabeth Milbank, Marne Obernauer Jr., Deanna Singh, and Cash Warren with our upLIFTing Founders Awards.
The event was a resounding success raising $1.29 million to support LIFT’s work – including an astounding $534,000 raised for our new Family Empowerment Fund in honor of Kirsten’s legacy!
